A world-class lab with full-time embryologists. The quality of a lab is reflected by the personnel, equipment and technologies. We have full-time dedicated embryologists with experience ranging from 5-18 yrs, a team of 8 dedicated embryologists. The technology used in the lab consists of the entire spectrum including the following equipment:

- Incubators: 3 Nos. Big incubators (CO2 + Trigas) + 5 Nos. Origio Benchtop incubators

We have a total of 8 Incubators with a choice of offering C02 tri-gas incubators that are used depending on each patient’s requirements. The culture room is with class 10000 clean air system built with extremely low Volatile Organic Compound(VOC) levels.
Stringent quality control of the lab is performed by an independent agency as it’s an ISO 9001:2015 certified lab.
The embryology laboratory has adequate space to ensure safe and comfortable working conditions and is designed to accommodate a load of 1000 to 1500 cycles per year. There is also an in-house 24-hour power back-up to keep the incubators running smoothly as these are sensitive equipment which are highly intolerant of power fluctuation.
The culture room is a vast area where 5-6 embryologists can involve themselves in various independent activities without the fear of contamination or mix up of gametes of one patient with another.

Clean Room Technology
GIVF Centre believes that “Cleanliness is the language of efficiency and the landmark of total dedication”. No efforts are spared to ensure that the working conditions are clean. Controlled clean air is circulated throughout the vast area of the laboratory and all practices conform to and ensure the clean room code. The Clean Room System has been designed and engineered to American FDA Standard class 10 K is generally used in all drug manufacturing industries for both injections and liquid formulations.
The Clean Room Presentation with a special high-powered generator has been installed to service this unit. This facility provides clean room atmosphere by pushing filtered air through compressors and ultrafilters into the sensitive area where gametes and embryos are handled.
Our Clean Room was the first of its kind in South India. With the establishment of this new laboratory, there was no looking back from there on. The overall pregnancy rate increased tremendously and it has only increased further with the addition of newer technologies in the laboratory.

Dedicated Semen processing area for IVF/ICSI procedures and slow freezing facility for ovarian tissue freezing.
One of the international auditors recently visited our IVF centre and audited our embryology laboratory. The auditor has reported that Gunasheela IVF Centre is one of the most advanced in India with technologies such as Embryoscope and In-Vitro Maturation (IVM). We follow standard operating protocols (SOPs) for each embryology procedure.
